Random Thursday

Hey hooka's!
Hope your day is swell.

Well, today is my last workout for a little while. I've got to do my best and get passed these damn shin splints.

My LEEP procedure is scheduled for 1 this afternoon. I'm a little anxious but I know my doctor knows what she's doing. It's just a little nerve-wracking knowing that someone will be all up in my ladyparts with a huge needle and a little burning tool...and I'll be awake for all of it. I was the girl who paid an extra $400 to be put to sleep when I had 2 teeth pulled. Is there someone I can pay off in this instance? Nope. It's an "in-office procedure". Eff that.

So anyways, I'm on day 4 of the Whole30 and I feel amazing! I still have a sugar craving here and there but it's nowhere near as bad as before. I slept so good last night and woke up this morning refreshed. It's seriously amazing.

A few years ago I saw an interview with a Sarah Wilson, the lady who quit sugar, and I totally scoffed at the idea. Who'd want to give up sugar? That woman is nuts. I love my brownies, and, icecream. Oh, and fruit. Well, now I know why. I feel great.

Now, I'm not saying I'm giving up sugar forever and living on The Whole30 forever. That's just not reality. It's just going to be a mix of eating whole foods and eating one meal a week that is most likely full of sugar and carbs and not worrying about it aka Date Night.  I still love pasta, bread, and brownies but they make me feel terrible. They are like that toxic boyfriend...you love him and you keep going back even though he makes you feel like shit. Eventually you've gotta cut the ties with him. Adios amigo.

Here's a little motivation for your day. Bikini season {at least for Texas} is about 3ish months away.

Just remember to keep going. Even if you don't see changes, your body is making them. If you want to read a good post on bikini's and confidence, go see Mama L

Y'all have an awesome day!

I had a LEEP done in 2008. They put me out in the hospital for it- which I was not expecting. Seriously- recovering from anesthesia was worse than from the actual procedure! lol
I am looking up the Whole30. It is interesting!

I has a LEEP procedure a few years ago and I totally psyched myself out more than I needed to. The Dr came in, told me what she was going to do for the procedure & asked I'd I had any questions. I asked her if she was going to numb me up down there before she started. She looked at me as if I had a 2nd head on my shoulders. Well, how was I suppose to know? She does this everyday, this was my 1st time and that was a very very important part I thought she skipped! Anyway, hope it was a not so terrifying experience for you.
