The Super Six
Ready to get our weight-loss on! They were all super nice and I actually knew Alicia {the blonde} from our days of working in a grocery store together a long, long, time ago.
The Trainers
When the trainers walked up, I was nervous. These people are fit and the hottness just kinda oozes out of them! The Hubs knows Jason and Caroline from Camp Gladiator and I had already met Angela from 3V Fitness so I was thinking my odds were good of getting someone I already know. Of course that didn't happen...
She was reading off my bio and I was trying my best not to start laughing because I was so nervous.
Asshat alert! I suck at making speeches. Do you see that paper in my hand? Yeah, I was just supposed to read it. Instead, I rambled on and on about wanting to wear my wedding ring again. And I'm seriously glad you can't see the pit stains on my shirt...I was sweating like a pig from nervousness.
The Hub's had joked with me when Crossfit Waco walked in that I would be getting them. I was like "Nooo, I'm sure one of the men will get it." Wrong.
I couldn't be happier! I feel like I ended up in the right place!
I had a whole team of people there to meet me. A new family, or cult as they like to call themselves. They were all so nice and welcoming. It was awesome.
Yesterday, I planned to meet Jonathon at 1 at the open gym day they have every Sunday. I sat in my car for a good 20 minutes, working up the courage to walk in. I was so nervous. Then, Alicia Keys Girl on Fire came on. It was definitely my sign to put that nervousness somewhere else and go in.
I got to meet his wife and one of his son's. For a gym that likes to kick your ass, the people there are so nice! We talked about my nutrition and what I need to be eating. I'm going to be doing the Zone Diet/Paleo. Think Weight Watchers but with blocks instead of points.
Then, it was time to get down to business. He wrote a workout on the whiteboard, said "this will be your warm-up in a few weeks", and we went through it slowly, working on proper form. Well that was easy. Wrong.
I needed to be timed and so he set the timer and off I went.
-250 meters on the row machine
-10 Pull-ups {Jumping}
-15 Push-ups
-20 Sit-ups
-25 Squats
Dead.
Not really but close. I did that in 7 minutes and 28 seconds. Afterwards, a few people came up to meet me and the whole time I was thinking Don't pass out. Don't puke. Don't pass out. Don't puke. It was a lot rougher than it looks.
I'm in love though. This is the kind of working out that I love to do! I definitely think this will become my new favorite workout.
I'm so excited about the next 12 weeks. I know Crossfit Waco is going to make me step-up and bring my A game. I seriously can't wait to see the results.
Don't forget to check on the others with The Super Six. They are all amazing people and I know we'll all be looking hott after this is all over.
Elle Noel posted this as her daily motivator yesterday. I thought it was perfect and decided to steal borrow it.
Truth.
It's all about what you do to change your life.
Well, I've got to go get ready to have my ass handed to me. Send a little prayer that I don't puke. Have an amazeballs Monday!

I am so excited for you (and jealous). Can't wait to see how you do!
You are one brave lady. I probably would have had a full on panic attack doing that in the middle of the mall! I got tired just reading your warm-up.
Way to get out of your comfort zone! You're already kicking butt.
My motto lately: Don't half-a$$ it haha.
I'm proud of you for getting out & doing something. Especially something like crossfit! That ain't no walk in the park. Love your motivational saying you "borrowed". A friend & I have kind of the same philosophy - Quit fucking around and get it done"
